Titan Baseball Helps Love Reins

3/30/2015

On Sunday, March 15th varsity baseball players traveled to Green Villa in Independence to help with a Love Reins charity event. The event was an auction to help raise money for Love Reins, an amazing organization, with which we are proud to be associated. To learn more about Love Reins here's a LINK TO THEIR WEBSITE and here's a LINK TO THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE.

Love Reins Ranch does tremendous work in our community, so please support them any way you can!

Below you'll find a slideshow of the day's events and one awesome video of the guys line dancing!  For more professional pictures, please check out: http://www.jandhphoto.net/Events/Love-Reins-2015/

Coupon Cards!  Support West Salem and Save Money!

3/10/2015

As we have the last several years, the Titan Baseball program is selling coupon cards for $20.  The cards are a great deal and literally can pay for themselves with just one use, depending on where that first one is!  One that we're particularly excited about is the pass for up to 5 to the Adidas Employee Store.  Inside the store you get 50% off everything there!  To see the rest of the coupons check out the pictures below!

Of course, as has been the case for many years, the savings doesn't end once the coupons are gone.  By signing up online and downloading the free "Simply Rewards Mobile" app you can save online at many great stores, including, but not limited to Best Buy, Target, Macy's, Sephora, and Wal-Mart.  And those are just a few.  Once you get signed up you'll find plenty more!

To get signed up visit www.WestSalemBaseball.afrewards.com and don't forget to grab the free app for your smartphone or tablet... after you buy the coupon card, naturally!

Please support Titan Baseball and save yourself and your loved ones tons of cash!

Titan Ballplayers here are the dates you need to know:
  • Wednesday, March 11th- Checkpoint 1 (10 cards)
  • Friday, March 13th- Checkpoint 2 (20 cards)
  • Saturday, March 14th-  Mandatory Blitz from 10 AM to 1:00 PM

Remember, pretty great prizes are available for reaching the various checkpoints, as well as for being the top individual and team sellers.  And most important, this money will go to uniforms for younger players, and the AZ trip for older players.

Program Events for Friday, March 13th, 2015

3/10/2015

Two events are scheduled for the Titan Baseball program on Friday the 13th.  These will follow normal practice times after school.  After practice players will be fed BBQ at 5:00PM prior to Parent Meeting.

Parent Meeting (6:00 PM to 7:00PM)
  • Mandatory for new families of the program (freshman and any other first year Titan Baseball families).
  • Voluntary event for "returning" families.
  • Parents will meet coaches from all levels and be introduced to the Titan Baseball program.
  • Meeting will be held in WSHS library
Titan Night (7:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
  • Mandatory for all players at all levels.
  • An annual event where players from all levels get a chance to bond and talk baseball.
  • Players will talk about program expectations and what it means to be a member of the Titan program.
  • Parents of non-drivers, please pick your students up at 10:00PM.
  • This used to be an "all-night" event, but changes in district policy have forced us to alter the Titan Night's usual schedule.

2015 Field Day a Success!

3/8/2015

Each year the Titan Baseball program uses the first Saturday of the season to get our complex in shape for the season. Players at all levels worked hard from 10 AM to 3:00 PM to get it done.  Thank you to the ballplayers for all of your hard work.

Field Day Saturday, March 7th, 2015

3/6/2015

Our annual field day will be held on Saturday, March 7th.  We use this day to get our fields and complex ready for the season.  Here's a little more:

  • Time? 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Who? Mandatory for all levels.
  • What can you bring? Bring shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, or any other tools that might help beautify our complex.
  • What to wear? It is highly recommended that players wear work attire (boots/old shoes, work gloves, and clothes that will allow you to get dirty)
