Summer Ball Update

Our baseball program will be hosting summer ball tryouts on June 15th and 16th at West Salem High School. The tryouts will be from 6pm to 8pm each day. We run two teams in the summer; Division 1 and Division 2.

We encourage all eligible players who plan on playing in our program next school season to tryout. This includes current 8th graders through current juniors.

Info for 8th graders:

Reminder that space is limited to roster size and not all players will make a team; this has NO bearing on your status for next year.
If you are an 8th grader and make a team it is our expectation that your youth team remain your first priority and that you make our high school games when able.
We encourage anyone interested to tryout. Even if you don’t make a team this summer we get a chance to meet you.
Please come to tryouts with your youth schedule so we know your availability

Other info:

We encourage multi-sport athletes in our program and are happy to work with football, basketball, etc. schedules. Be sure to communicate availability to Coach Blair
Older players should consider trying out for the AAA Legion Dirtbags. Tryouts are June 1st and 3rd at Central HS.
There will be a TBD cost for the summer so that we can pay for umps, balls, etc.
