Throughout Oregon the state baseball playoffs kick into full swing today. West Salem will be playing host to Roseburg out of the Southwest Conference. Coming into the game the Titans are ranked 10th in Oregon, while Roseburg is ranked 23rd. Other than the higher seed being the home team, rankings mean very little at this point. Anything can happen in the crazy playoff world and the Titans will have to be ready to roll. Roseburg comes from a strong conference, is well coached, and it's baseball program is traditionally recognized as one of the better in the state. The winner of today's game will face the winner of Lincoln (#7) vs. Central Catholic (#26). Rankings dictate that if Lincoln were to win the West Salem/Roseburg winner would be away, while either team would earn home game if Central Catholic pulls off the upset.
