Senior Day turned out to be a roaring success for the Class of 2022. With all eight seniors in the starting lineup the Titans defeated South Salem 5-2.
The day began by celebrating West's seniors and families. Seniors and their families were introduced in front of a packed house at the corner of Doaks Fairy and Daisy Lane. Afterwards, all eight seniors took the field to catch the ceremonial first pitch from their mothers. Finally, the Senior Day ceremonies were capped off by senior Jeremiah Pinkerton singing the National Anthem.
As for the game, the Titans dominated from start to finish. Senior Evan Faust started on the bump for West Salem and went the distance, throwing a complete game while allowing one earned run on four hits, while striking out eight. At the plate Brody McMullen, Aiden Rock, and Faust drove in runs for West. McMullen (2), Jeremiah Pinkerton, Colin Kronenberg, and Ashton Simmons scored the five Titan runs.
