The Titan run production and offensive outburst was a positive development for the ball club. Brooks Ferguson launched a 3-run bomb in the game. Carter Howard added a solo shot and went 3-4 on the day. Matthew Luke also put together a 3 hit effort. Carter Lesh and Trey Ward each had two hits for West.
Brody McMullen continued his impressive start to the season as he drilled an RBI triple to left field in his second at-bat. McMullen has at least one hit in every Titan game so far, giving him a 9 game hitting streak on the year.
Pitching-wise, Ashton Simmons and Trent Vanwinckel slung the rock well in relief, allowing West to remain in the game. They combined for three innings pitched and allowed just one run.
The loss drops West to 2-7 on the year. The Titans next play at home on Tuesday vs. Sheldon.
